"Maang'anang"
2024 Fabric and Digital Art Beaded Jewelry Collection
As a child, we moved around – ALOT! But we always had home near my Grandma’s house. I also had aunts, uncles and cousins in the same area. The longest place we lived in was near my Grandma’s house, and in the summer, just as it was getting dark, you could hear the Loons start to call out from the nearby bay. The sun would cast its art show just through the trees as I listened to their songs. Loons remind me of my grandma, the way she did everything she could for her family and the lessons and love she left me with.
This collection was made to showcase that feeling of love and support.
"Coming Home"
2023 Digital Art Beaded and Quilled Jewelry Collection
This Collection is focused around a digital freehand art piece in honor of and dedicated to our tiny warriors who didn't make it home and for the survivors that still struggle to find their way.
I envisioned a little girl walking in a field, reclaiming her connection to Mother Earth and her culture. She is in traditional attire and has regrown and braided her hair. She is "Coming Home".
This collection included hand harvested and cleaned quills that I embroidered into the piece in a raised process to go along with the Raised beadwork.

"The Firekeepers"
2021-2022 Acrylic on Canvas, Beaded Jewelry Collection
The FireKeepers Collection is centered around the MMIW -sunset colors acrylic canvas set. featuring a left handprint (closest to the heart) and a red dress to bring awareness and hope to our missing and murdered women and relatives. This collection showcased a single crystal silver-lined bead in the design as a simple of hope. It was titled "The Firekeepers" in honor of those who keep that sacred fire burning and the hope for the return of their loved ones.
"Star Turtle"
2022 Digital Art and Beaded Jewelry Collection
"Star Turtle" is a digital image with a jewelry collection. Turtle is depicted amongst the star with Anishinaabe constellations woven in, her shell depicting the cycle of day and night with the moon and the sun. A piece to depict the story of Turtle carrying "Turtle Island" on her back. Swimming across the universe, she is surrounded by the ancestors amongst the stars. "Star Turtle" is one of my first digital freehand pieces made for collections as I learned to hone my painting skills and learn new techniques
This Collection is traveling with the "Arts for All: Creative Power" of Madison, WI traveling exhibit thru Spring of 2027.
